We’ve never seen a more extensive listing of local events than the MOTORCYCLE TIMES “Events Calendar.” If we hear about it, we list it! That’s why mid-Atlantic riders who are looking for places to go and things to do make a point of picking up extra copies for their friends ... they certainly don’t want to give away their own copy! But because the MOTORCYCLE TIMES comes out every other month, we sometimes get info about events too late to list them in the print magazine. That's why we will try to update this section on the website every couple of weeks or so, especially in season. We fully expect this to be the most popular page on our entire website. And remember, it is our goal to list EVERY motorcycle event open to riders in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. We don’t care if it’s a ride, a club event, a business open house, a race, a show, or anything else. So long as it has to do with motorcycles, we want to let riders know about it. Please send us info about YOUR mid-Atlantic event as soon as you have the details pinned down. We need the name of the event, what type of event it is, where it is (town and state), the times, a contact phone number, web or email address, and anything else about it that you would like other riders to know. If you don't have all the info, give us what ya got and we'll fake the rest ... Just kidding! There are two sections of the “Events Calendar.” The “On Going” listings include such periodic events as “Bike Nights,” club meetings, “First Sunday” ride-ins, and the like. Even if an individual rider is not interested in actually attending one of these events, the “On Going” section is an excellent reference of phone numbers and contacts. Please help us keep it complete and updated. The second section, the “Current Calendar,” is pretty much self-explanatory. We get event listings from any and every source that we can (though it's great when people send the notices to us directly). We generally try to include enough information so riders will know what, where, and when, but not so much that anyone will just hop on their bike and go without first calling ahead - some of the info we get may be incorrect, some locations may have changed, or events might have even been canceled. Please call ahead ... though just going for a ride isn’t the worse way to spend a day. The “Events Calendar” is, in many ways, the reason there is a MOTORCYCLE TIMES (see “About Us” for a short explanation). By sending us a simple email, phone call, or postcard, any mid-Atlantic promoter can notify TENS OF THOUSANDS of mid-Atlantic motorcycle enthusiasts about their event. Whether you are an event promoter, a business owner, or an enthusiast who knows of an upcoming event, please let us know. Then hop on your own bike and go enjoy it!
