Founded by Graham Banks in 2007, GBRacing continues it’s ongoing commitment to developing its motorcycle protection products at the very highest level of World championship racing has resulted in becoming the choice of no fewer than nine Moto2 World champions, nine WorldSBK champions, seven World Supersport champions and four World Supersport 300 champions. Banks’ love of endurance racing means the London firm has also enjoyed involvement with four FIM Endurance World Championship-winning teams.

An official technical partner of the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship, and the first company to be awarded the FIM Quality Product label for its secondary crankcase protection following the programme’s launch in December 2020, each and every product in the GBRacing range is designed, prototyped and produced in-house in the UK to ensure the highest quality and to meet the exacting standards expected by its many supported teams.

GBRacing has also been inspired by the FIM’s Ride Green and KiSS (Keep it Shiny and Sustainable) initiatives. The 2020 launch of its ZERO-e sustainability project saw the conversion of its Mercedes Actros race support truck to rely exclusively on solar power for paddock living. Being able to provide off-grid, sustainable power for its staff to live comfortably for the duration of each race weekend has saved the equivalent of burning 235kg of coal with a carbon dioxide emission saving of 200kg.

A continuous supporter of the FIM Awards since 2014, and a company committed to protecting motorcycles, riders, racetracks and the environment, we are delighted to welcome GBRacing back to Monaco.

Tim Banks – GBRacing Project Manager commented: “It has been a great pleasure to be a partner with the FIM since 2009. In this time, we’ve seen our product range grow and develop in line with the FIM Quality Product award and have benefited from the scope and credibility of the international body. Furthermore, we have enjoyed being a part of the FIM’s drive to increase sustainability and environmental awareness, launching our ZERO-e race support truck alongside the FIM’s Ride Green and KiSS initiatives. This December, we look forward to a long overdue celebration of our six World champions and all the hard work that has gone into the sport we love over the past two years.”

Fabio Muner – FIM Marketing & Digital Director said. “It is clear to see that GBRacing is deeply embedded with motorcycle sport at the highest level where they have enjoyed an impressive array of success, through which they have developed their range of products. Welcoming them as the first company to be awarded the FIM Quality Product label was recognition of the high standards they have reached throughout this business. Furthermore, we really appreciate their ZERO-e sustainability project, which is very much in line with the FIM’s Ride Green Campaign and their continued support across the board.”
