MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series, has announced tickets are now on sale for 10 of its 2022 Auto Parts 4 Less MotoAmerica Championship events, from the season-opening Daytona 200 at the iconic Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, to the season finale at the immaculate Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, and all stops in between.

Talk about some changes… 2013 AMA Superbike Champion Josh Herrin is about to embark on a completely new adventure in the 2022 MotoAmerica Series as he switches classes, motorcycles and teams. Herrin will go from the MotoAmerica Superbike class to the MotoAmerica Supersport class and he will do so on a Ducati Panigale V2 with the Warhorse HSBK Ducati NY team. We talked to Herrin about the bike, the team, fatherhood and more in this week’s episode of Off Track With Carruthers And Bice.

Dunlop's MotoAmerica Mini Cup Sweepstakes

In line with Dunlop’s long-term investment in the youth motorcycle movement and the introduction of Dunlop’s new mini-sized road racing slick, Dunlop and Ohvale have partnered up to give away a custom Dunlop Ohvale GP-0 160cc motorcycle.
This one-of-a-kind motorcycle will be on display at select 2022 AMA Monster Energy Supercross rounds, where future racers can envision their road racing career.

With the news that MotoAmerica is headed to Daytona International Speedway in March of 2022 for the Daytona 200, we decided the perfect way to build excitement for the event would be to start digging through the history books and memory banks. Since Paul Carruthers is literally as old as the Speedway itself and covered almost 30 Daytona 200s as a journalist while working at Cycle News, it was a no-brainer that it would be him who would take on the task of trying to recall the good and the bad. And since we are the home of the AMA Superbike Series, we figured we’d have him start his look back with the 1985 Daytona 200 – the first of the 200s to feature Superbikes – and go from there. This week, we focus on the 2006 and 2007 Daytona 200s.

Is Danilo Petrucci Coming To MotoAmerica?

BREAKING NEWS: Motojournalist Raquel Jiménez Rodríguez quoted Danilo Petrucci in an interview published recently on the Spanish Website “Motosan.es”. The story is titled “Petrucci: After MotoGP and the Dakar, I will go to MotoAmerica.“
Petrucci said: “What I like the most is that I chose rallies because I like being on the bike, and the same will be in MotoAmerica. I’m going to see a new continent and, at 31, it was good to try.”

O'Hara Signs Factory Indian Contract

Inaugural Mission King Of The Baggers Champion Tyler O’Hara has signed a new contract with Indian Motorcycle to contest the expanded, six-round 2022 King Of The Baggers Championship, which will include two races at Daytona International Speedway during the traditional Daytona Bike Week celebration in March.
