WHAT TO POST
Price and a good description of the item. Recent studies indicate you need to get to the point. Do not get wordy.
A photo walk around. Left side, 3/4 rear, rear, 3/4 right, right side, 3/4 front right to rear, front, 3/4 front left to rear, instruments….anything else you want to call attention to. Use a nice background that isn’t cluttered.
Some way to contact you. We recommend email at first. You should never post direct contact information on the internet. How you handle it is up to you.
WHAT NOT TO POST
Cars, Trucks, Vans and other vehicles that are not motorcycles.
Especially if you think you are clever and include the phrase “Will trade for”. It’s simple, if it isn’t a motorcycle or directly motorcycle related, don’t post it here.
We’ll bounce the ad the moment it’s seen if you do.
Examples: You can post a house lamp with a motorcycle or motorcycle part for a base…but if you post a house lamp with a car base because it can go in your motorcycle man cave…we’ll trash that ad. You can post motorcycle t shirts, but not car t shirts. Got it? Good.
Porn. Don’t post it. We’ll bounce that too as soon as we see or hear about it.
USE COMMON SENSE
Use email for replies. We recommend you DO NOT post private contact information in the ads. However it’s your choice.
Always set up a meeting place that is very public, and let your trusted others know all about it. Bring at least one friend with you.
WE’LL ADD MORE IF NEEDED, BUT PLEASE DON’T MAKE US DO THAT!
